Joe Stuart, Green party, Battersea

Joe has worked in Wandsworth Council's housing department for over 20 years, 10 years as a repair officer and 10 years in environmental services as an inspector.  He has dedicated over 25 years to the voluntary service in his local community.

This is the first time Joe has stood at an election for the Green party.

Thangam Debbonaire, Labour candidate, Bristol West

Thangam is currently the National Research and Training Manager for the charity Respect, having spent most of her working life helping to end domestic violence and promote gender equality at local, national and international levels with voluntary, public and private organisations.

She has lived in the heart of the constituency for over 20 years, and is a governor at a local state primary school, a trustee of the University of Bristol student union and active in the local traffic action group.

She was a professional cellist and continues to perform as a ‘happy amateur’.

Adam Afriyie, Conservative candidate, Windsor

Adam first became the MP for Windsor in 2005 and in 2010 was re-elected with the biggest majority in the history of the seat with 61%.

Deeply involved in business Adam was regional finalist in the 2003 Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the year award.

Politically, he has proved himself highly competent and accomplished a great deal through being the Chairman of a number of Committees, and promoting business to generate jobs.
